[APK-News]A young traceur passes away from cancer

rssIcon.gif A young traceur passes away from cancer

It's always a tragedy when someone passes away from cancer - especially when they're young. Unfortunately, this has happened recently to an APK member. Avery Dorsey has been keeping us updated about his brother, Andrew. Andrew was 12 and has been battling with brain cancer for the past few months. After at least a surgery things were looking a little better. He was able to come home for Thanksgiving and enjoy dinner with his family. Things took a turn for the worse however, and yesterday he passed away.

Avery says that Andrew used to always browse the forums, so I'm sure he will be happy knowing you guys are thinking of him. Everyday he tells me, I just want to go out and train. He hasn't been able to move the left side of his body because of the tumor.

If you'd like to write something, please use Avery's thread. (http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php/topic,22350.0.html) We just wanted to recognize Andrew, and wish the best for Avery and his family.
