[APK-News]Featured APK Affiliate: South Jersey Parkour

Here at APK we're all about recognizing the hard work of people not

only to better themselves but also for their efforts to build a better

community for all of us. We started the APK Affiliate program (content/view/4186/433/) to help all

the communities out there work together towards the shared goal of

helping parkour and freerunning develop in a positive way that reflects

the roots of these disciplines. As the Affiliates grow we want to let

people know about some of the great stuff we see coming from some of

the local scenes and some of the individuals in them that are stepping

up and doing amazing things. Our first profile comes from South Jersey

Parkour (SJPK) (https://sites.google.com/site/sjpkfr/) and their developing scene out there that's been coming

up with some incredible ways to reach out to their local area and

promote the positive aspects of the parkour mentality.

From running food drives at jams and donating canned goods to the

Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, starting Parkour clubs at Universities and

demonstrations for new or interested practitioners, to creating a

program that teaches respect, responsibility, discipline, and

dedication and their importance by utilizing parkour's philosophy these

guys are dedicated to not just their own training but to truly

representing the spirit of parkour.
