(Inter)National Parkour Day

APK has been a proud and strong supporter of Leave No Trace since it started. We have also continued to be the #1 Parkour and Freerunning resource for the global community. Today, and the first Saturday in June every year, these things combine as we celebrate (Inter)National Parkour Day! What started as an idea to get people all around the country (USA) to go jam together in the same day, with a focus on helping new people get into the discipline - is now a worldwide celebration of Parkour and Freerunning! The Facebook page that Launched APK's National Parkour day into an international phenomenon has over 3,200 people registered, the APK Facebook Event (http://www.facebook.com/AmericanParkour#!/event.php?eid=117052958315659'>http://www.facebook.com/AmericanParkour#!/event.php?eid=117052958315659 index=1) has over 700, and there are many other event pages for local events with tons of people all over the world who will be picking up trash, jamming, and having fun!
