Massaschusetts Town Plans to Offer Parkour Classes

Andrea Egmont of the Newburyport, MA Recreation Department wants to offer Parkour Classes for the kids there who want to do parkour. She understands the risks, but has taken a very methodical and level headed approach to figure out that Parkour training has little to do with the dangerous bails seen on youtube videos., and instead can offer kids a very safe and effective way to have fun and improve themselves. APK is hoping to have an opportunity to help out, and Mark Toorock was interviewed by the local paper. Newburyport would be only the second municipality in the states, following Bainbridge, Washington, where a student of Tyson Cecka's leads classes.
