[APK-News]USA - Jack Lalanne dies at age 96

Perhaps better than any other person of the 20th Century, Jack Lalanne

embodied the spirit of etre et durer. He famously celebrated his 70th

birthday by towing 70 boats with 70 people on them across Long Beach

Harbor -- while he was handcuffed and shackled. At the age of 96 years

old he died Sunday afternoon of complications from pneumonia. His

thinking on exercise and fitness was often ahead of its time. While he

wasn't a traceur, we ought to take inspiration from his vitality. Those

close to him say he kept up his morning ritual of lifting weights for

two hours daily even in his later years.

This clip from his TV show is a personal favorite, and it's message rings true today.
